There's no place like A Place Called Home

Well, it's Wednesday night, and I just got home from playing the Homelessness Awareness fundraiser at East Side Mario's. As always, a great time playing there for Tim and Wendy and the crew. We really want to thank everyone who helped put the event together; Lorrie, Zita, Tim.....everybody involved.

Like I've said before, I work a lot with A Place Called Home, and I really can't say enough about the work they do. If anybody is looking to support a local non-profit group, either with money or time, I seriously couldn't direct you to a more worthy bunch. For real.

Continuing with the thanks, I would like to shout out to my associates from the Legal Clinic who headed down all the way from Orillia. Man, do you guys know how to cut a rug, it reminded me of last year's planning conference ;)

And speaking of cutting a rug, Soundman Steve was in fine form as usual, doing backup vocals on Hey Jude and generally boogie-ing all night long. HUGE thanks to Steve for donating his time and effort. A gentleman and a scholar....
Bedtime,
A.

The new computer blues...

Sorry for the lack of blogging lately; I've recently put together a new PC and it's taken a while to get things back up and running. New Year's Eve was a blast, I'll have some pictures and video up pretty soon. Last night we were at East Side's in Lindsay. We treated ourselves to a real, good ol' fashioned greasy Blues show. Thanks to everyone for coming out, it felt more like a Kitchen Party than a "show"....good times. And thanks again to Soundman Steve for helping out with the last couple of gigs, great job as always buddy.

We hope to see everyone at East Side's for the Homelessness Awareness show this Wednesday night. There are still some tickets left, so if you're interested just give Tim or Patty a shout at East Side Marios at 878-0033.

Later,

A.
