Not all of our fans wear cool Scooby-Doo shirts to our gigs, but the cutest ones certainly do...

Thanks to everyone for coming out to the Lakehouse on Saturday night.

I think this is called a wardrobe malfunction?

Keith, this one's for you. Soundman Steve took a picture of your clip-on tie, after it exploded off your shift during a particularly enthusiastic vocal part. Nice one buddy. Just be thankful your nipple wasn't left exposed at a Superbowl Half-time show :)

Every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed band...

Wouldn't our mother's be proud? This is from the Fireman's Gala which we played last weekend, in order to help raise funds for the Boy's and Girl's Club of Lindsay. It was a great show, lots of laughs and plenty of cash was raised to help out a good cause. We also shared the stage with an incredibly talented young lady, who happens to be blind. Wow, could Simone sing. This girl is still a teenager, and has a four-octave range.

The next night we played the Relay for Life, which is pretty special to the band as many of our family members have been sadly affected by cancer. However, the weather didn't cooperate, and after staring up at the heavens and doing a Woodstock-like "no rain" dance for several hours, we decided we couldn't bring all the big equipment through the muck and set up during the storm. So, many apologies to those who were expecting a bigger show, and many more apologies to Soundman Steve who was dutifully waiting in town with all of his gear. Still, it was good to help out the cause and try to provide some comfort to the cold and tired participants.

This weekend we'll be playing a stipped-down acoustic set at the Lakehouse Restaurant in Fenelon Falls. The weather looks good, so we'll be out on the patio. Bring us a can of bug-spray, and we'll play your favourite song (if we know it :) If you're interested, we'll likely start playing around 8pm, and things usually wrap up around 11pm.

Also, I'll be blogging more often. My 'real job' has been busy lately, but I shall continue to keep things up to date. Kyle has done some killer studio work, both covers and originals, and I'm hoping to have a couple of cuts on the site over the weekend.
One last word; eternal props to Soundman Steve for all of hard work. He's been helping us out big-time lately, and we appreciate it!

Until then,

A.
