I'm a Rambler, I'm a Gambler, I'm a long way from Sebright....

Wow, what a blast night night at the Dalton Hall. We sure showed those suckers next door in Dalrymple how to have fun on St. Patty's Day:)
Many many thanks to Debbie once again, and for all the people who keep coming out to catch our shows....you guys were great last night, loads of dancing and jigs!
Given that the room was full of O'Neill's and Baileys, Darren and I did a few Irish tunes complete with mandolin. Here's a little shot of one of my favorite Clancy Brothers songs, "The Moonshiner". Great harmonies from Darren, I think he should be touring with Great Big Sea...(not to mention an Elvis tribute act).
Happy St. Patricks Day,

We love you Sebright!

That's right, and we're headed your way soon enough to melt the Sebright snow :)

The KK Blues Project

So I went out to the studio on the weekend to lay some tambourine down on Kyle's solo project. He's written some unbelievable original tunes, and the production quality is fantastic. I'm not sure when all the post-production will be done, but as I said before, when it's completed I'll be posting them to the site. Keith and Kyle have also done some excellent work with a few cover tunes that we frequently play, but I'll keep you in suspense over those ones for now!

The track I was tambo-ing on was "Anenome". I did a practice version in my home studio just the get the timing down, and a few people have heard it and suggested that I post it, so here it is. Keep in mind, the Real Deal Kyle Version will slay this one :) Just a teaser for the actual goods..

And while I'm blogging, here's another solo effort of mine that I'll post for Kelly. It is her fav, after all. Yeah, it's not exactly Howlin' Wolf, but you can't tell me that Thom Yorke wasn't singing the blues when he did the original....
